Take my breath away

We always like to do different things with the team here at Neon Towers, so when we heard that there was an open-air cinema at Cotswold Airport, just outside of Cirencester, we wanted to get involved.

I feel the need for speed

So 15 of the dream team headed out of town on their sueprbikes (OK, it was a minibus, but let’s pretend), for a bank holiday evening in the stunning surroundings of an old airfield, with old 747s looming in the background (Cotswold Airport is home to the brilliant Air Salvage International who dismantle old planes).

With food stalls including the lovely local Eat Wild, a bar and one thousand other movie fans, the Neon Players mingled with wannabee Tom Cruises all dressed up in their jumpsuits. There was a lovely sunset (it’s always sunny in Glos, uh hum).

Lights, camera, action!

As night fell, everyone took their seats/rugs/cushions/beanbags/collapsible chairs, etc to enjoy an 80s classic film. With Maverick, Goose and Iceman all doing their bit in the danger zone. It was a bit of a one-off experience that the whole team loved. What's next?
