Got an idea for an iPhone game?

Everyone you meet always says, "I've got a great idea for an iPhone game" and we always are really polite and say that we're really busy, blah, blah. But we thought that maybe if there are so many good ideas out there that we would give the wonderful British people a chance to actually get their own iPhone game idea made. By us.

So we called our friends at Mac Format magazine and suggested the idea, and along with their great new sister title Tap!, we've started a competition.

Judge Dread

When we've got all the entries in at the end of May 2011, a highly qualified panel of top industry judges from Mac Format, Neon Play and respected industry journalist Stuart Dredge will sit down and work out which idea we feel is the best one.

Show me the money!

Then Neon Play will get to work and design and build the app and then launch it on the App Store. And if you're the lucky winner, you will share in 25% of the profits of the game, which could be a lot of money if things go well...

Graham Barlow, Editor-in-Chief of MacFormat and Tap! says: “There are be lots of people out there without the programming skills who have great ideas for iPhone games, and with the assistance of Neon Play, we’re going to help them realise their dreams.“
