There's Hope for 2013

Give me Hope

Doing our bit

One of the 10 reasons to work at Neon Play is that we give a percentage of our profits to local charities - it’s something we’re very proud of and love doing.

So far, we’ve been chuffed to support Paternoster School in Cirencester with a pair of iPads for their children to enjoy interacting and learning with.

We’ve also helped part-fund a superstar child called Esme Clark to go to the USA to have an operation to help her walk, which has been a huge success.

And we’re supporting the wonderful Timmy’s Trust, by giving four iPads to the children’s oncology unit at Gloucester Royal Hospital.

Our charity for 2013

So we wanted to find another local charity for 2013 that we could support. And we were delighted when Hope for Tomorrow got in touch, as they provide mobile chemotherapy units. Cirencester is one of the hospitals they visit every week, providing an invaluable service that saves local people with cancer from traveling too far to have their weekly chemo sessions.

Quotes

Claire Cosgrove, Trust and Corporate Fundraiser at Hope for Tomorrow commented, “We are thrilled to have the support of Neon Play. They are full of enthusiasm and keen to fundraise however they can – we look forward to working with them throughout the year.”

Oli Christie, CEO of Neon Play, “Hope for Tomorrow is a fantastic charity providing incredible service to people with cancer. Having lost three of my grandparents to cancer, it’s a charity that means a lot to me personally and also to the whole Neon Play team, many of whose families have also been effected. We are delighted to do what we can in 2013 to help support Hope for Tomorrow.”
