It’s a tricky old business trying to get your app up the App Store charts - you might think it’s tricky to get into the Top 40 pop music charts with 200 or so other songs to compete with. But try getting into the Top 40 apps when you’re competing against 300,000 others - it’s not easy!

Top selling apps of 2010

So imagine our delight (with a hint of shock and horror) when Apple released their best selling apps of 2010. Of course there was all the Angry Birds and Doodle Jumps of this world sitting at the top table.

But we nearly fell off our shiny fake leather swivel chairs when we looked at the Top 10 selling iPad apps....Flick Football, our first ever app, was the SECOND HIGHEST SELLING APP OF 2010.

I know, we couldn’t believe it either. It even beat Angry Birds HD - quite remarkable. So we toasted our phenomenal success with a glass of water from our very smart water filter jug. And then pushed on with some new apps - we’re currently working on three rather fab new games, which will come to an iPhone near you when we manage to find a few fleeting weeks to work on them.
