Sunday papers

Stop the press!

First class Mail

It was a great day for coverage in the UK Sunday newspapers. Not one, but two pieces about Neon Play or our games.

First of was a nice feature in the Mail on Sunday about British app developers who are doing well out of the App Store. Luckily they included Neon Play on that list, so we answered a few questions and they then edited them creatively and included us in the piece.

It's fair to say that not everything you read is totally what was said, however, it's a great piece of coverage for us.

Sign of the Times

And then the titan that is the Sunday Times featured a Neon Play game in their app review section. The legendary mobile games journo Stuart Dredge reviewed our latest UK no. 1 game Paper Glider Crazy Copter and gave it an honourable four star rating, which we are delighted with. It was good timing as the game has also flown up the US charts at the weekend, up to the number 8 slot.

Oli Christie, CEO of Neon Play commented, “It's wonderful coverage for the Neon Play team to be featured in two great Sunday newspapers - maybe one day the News of the World will also feature us - we can dream. Crazy Copter has been a huge success in just 10 days and we can't wait to launch some more great games.”
