Let's Rock!

At Neon Play, we’re proud to be in Cirencester and we love the mixture of living and working in the most beautiful and inspiring area - The Cotswolds.

However, at times, we know we don’t always get all the CVs we might want, because people think that moving to the area isn’t going to be a rip-roaring adventure, because it’s all a bit sleepy and conventional.

And yes, there are lots of estate agents wearing tweed and red trousers. And yes, there are lots of pretty picture-postcard villages in the area, but that’s great.

Too cool for school?

However, we also know there are a lot of very cool companies (like ourselves...!) and cool people, amazing bars, unique hotels, stunning restaurants, phenomenal artists, bands and who knows what on our doorstep.

Let's rock the boat

So we thought it was time to change perceptions about the Cotswolds. And we have started an initiative called Rock the Cotswolds. We’re working with Cotswold Life and GFirst (that is Gloucestershire’s Local Enterprise Partnership) to try and find all the coolest and most surprising things in the Cotswolds.

Oli Christie, CEO of Neon Play commented, “It’s been incredibly rewarding to see how many people have said that this is just the sort of thing that is needed in the Cotswolds. We’re chuffed to bits that the local papers are right behind us, and with the support of Cotswold Life and GFirst, we’re sure that this will be the start of something really big and we can put some rock n roll and coolness into the Cotswolds.”
