Paper Glider is number one!
Our trusty friend “Paper Glider” had sat agonisingly close to the summit of the App Store, a bit like a climber on the verge of conquering Everest, but not quite having the oxygen for that final push (sort of).
Top of the pops
But eventually after three days of trying, Paper Glider leapt that final inch from number two to number one in the UK App Store (free apps).
It’s a hatrick
And we’re delighted that it’s our hatrick - that is three separate apps that have got to the number one free app in the UK. First it was Flick Football Lite, then Golf Putt Pro and now the Paper Glider.
Number twos
It’s also doing pretty well around the world, sitting tantalisingly close to the USA top spot, but kept out by a 14 year old who has the coveted number one.
Just in the last four days, Paper Glider has had 1,4022,729 downloads (1,722,312 in total) and hopefully we can continue that run of form in the coming days. Who knows? It’s an app store jungle out there.

Oli Christie, managing director of origami-making Neon Play commented, “There was a huge cheer in the studio when we got to number one again and it’s a great moment for the whole Neon Play team. We’re very proud of Paper Glider and look forward to adding Game Center soon to get the world competing against each other.”
