Behind the BBC scenes!

BBC News visit

BBC Points West in town

Following our Queen's Award win, we were lucky enough to get a call from BBC Points West business honcho Dave Harvey. They were doing a feature on the new GDP figures and wanted to highlight a company that is bucking the trend that was launched in a recession.

So the next day, Dave arrived with his tripod and camera and we welcomed him with open arms to the mighty Neon Play HQ. When we got to our table tennis room, Dave challenged CEO Oli to a game...and he was rather annoyingly good. Despite his mammoth 6'5" frame, he was twinkle toes on the table and a ferocious game ensued. History will not relate the winner...

Interview time

Then it was down to serious work of actually doing an interview. Here is Dave probing Oli on some tricky questions...

Dave then shot four of the team playing pool from various angles. Here's Mark breaking off in style...

We don't want to embarrass members of the team who couldn't pot a ball for toffee (let alone actually hit the ball...!).

And then upstairs, Dave filmed some of the team hard at work...(they had to act hard).

Dave is rather a tall man...!

Oli Christie, CEO of Neon Play commented, "It's fantastic news that our Queen's Award win has got the attention of the BBC. We're so proud to be here in Cirencester and the South-West and we thank Dave for coming along to Neon Towers. We hope to welcome him back for a ping pong match in the future!"
